What Does The Following Stress Test Result Indicate?
HI just had a conference with cardiologist on stress test result I have a long hx of cardiac disease Lt Vent. diastolic dysfunction. Study remains unchanged from studies dating back to 2013, But I am concerned about the EJ frac. My cardiologist is out so new guy talked with me My Card. told me not too long ago my EF was 35 but the of this DIP study show 24. I want to have knee replacement but my family is concerned. I believe the EF of 35 came from several ultra sounds. Should I be concerned with this difference? I am a 72 YO moderately obese male,
Diastolic dysfunctions are usually due to long-standing hypertension and its effects on heart. However, reduced ejection fraction is due to previous cardiac insult. Anesthetist will not give you a risk-free fitness as it carries moderate to high risk in operating knee.
