Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My TLC count is 16000 /cumm Normal range is 4000-11000 My DLC count is : Segmented Neutrophil 88% Normal value is 40-75 Lymphocyte 10 % Normal value is 20-45 Eosinophil 02 % Normal value is 01-06 Platelet count 3.20 lakh/cmm normal value is 1.5-4.0 lakh/cmm please advise
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Your blood test report shows increase in TLC to 16000 & DLC count result shows increase in neutrophils & there is also increase in absolute neutrophil count. All other tests are normal. Low percentage of Lymphocyte is due to increase in number of neutrophils. This report shows some kind of recent acute bacterial infection in you, especially pyogenic infections.Neutrophils are also increased in any acute inflammation, so will be raised after a injury, heart attack, other infarct or burns.
Refer to your physician for consultation Hope this information helps.
