General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear , This is Dr. S. Tomar from healthcaremagic.com's medical team and I ll be your medical adviser for this question. First of all thank you for sharing your concern with us and showing trust on us.
Presence of herpes 1 antibodies of IgG TYPE of more than 1.10 is clearly indicative that you had herpes 1 at some point of time in your life , it's not possible to say that when you got it but it's sure that before 3 to 6 months because IgG antibodies takes 3 to 6 months to be positive in blood .
I would like to inform you herpes 1 is very common infection and upto 68 percent of people gets contracted by the age of 12 . As far as the question of infecting others is concerned so definitely as you are positive so you can transmit it to others also by oral to oral contact which will cause oral herpes but can also cause genital herpes .

This is my initial response and discussion is open until you have any query or need further clarification.
I wish you good health .
Thank you for your question and feel free to contact further for any question .
sincerely,
Dr. Shardendu Tomar
