What Does The Following Ultrasonography Report Suggest?
Can anyone pls give some information abt this following report.... Extra hepatic portal vein is not visualised and replaced by multiple venous collaterals at porta and peripancreatic region. Thin hypodense eccentric filling defect in seen in one of the collaterals at the porta- likely partial thrombosis Is surgery necessary for this and what are the problems faced by the patient.
The ultrasonography report suggests that there. Presence of thrombosis or clot in one of the blood vessel of porta hepatis. A clot can pose a serious danger, thus, surgery is recommended.
