What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?

My ultrasound remarks are ;
The uterus is anteverted with regular contour and homogeneous myomeyrium
There are no myomeyrial masses seen
The cervix is closed and homogenous
The endometrium is thick and hyoerechoic with intact endomyometrial interface.
The right ovary is lateral to the uterus and contains a heterogeneous structure measuring 1.8x 1.1x 0.9cm. With color on color flow mapping suggestive of a corpus luteum.
The left ovary is lateral to the uterus and contains follicles.
There are no adnexal masses seem.there is no free fluid in the cul de sac.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hello, thanks for writing in.
The uterus, its mouth-cervix and the lining-endometrium are all normal.
The right ovary has a corpus luteum, which is a normal structure, and usually regresses shortly.
Every cycle one follicle in either ovary grows and ruptures to release an egg. The follicle remnant is a corpus luteum. (If a pregnancy occurs, it has a useful role to maintain it).
The left ovary appears normal and there is no mass or fluid in the pelvis.
So, overall a normal scan.
Do not worry. Bye.
