General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The ultrasound report indicates a reduced CMD (corticomedullary differentiation) which may be due to several kidney diseases and may cause a reduced renal function.
I would recommend that he does some blood tests to evaluate kidney function such as creatinine, electrolytes, urinalysis, GFR and BUN.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
