What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?
What does this mean?? The junction between the endometrium and the myometrium is ill defined and heterogeneous, suggestive of adenomyosis. There is no fibroid. The uterus is anteverted and measures 9 x 3 x 6cm in length, AP and transverse diameter. Right ovarian volume 4ml. Left ovarian volume 13ml.
There is a benign (non-cancerous) lesion in your uterus but it is small in size. Generally, no intervios required as of now. Consult a gynaecologist for expert opinion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
