General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the ultrasound scan report you have provided with.
1. Pregnancy is indicating to be of 6 week and 4 days.
2. Trophoblastic reaction appears to be fair. Yolk sac is seen normally. The margins of the sac is regular with minimal subchorionic hemorrhage seen. These findings appear to be fairly normal.
3. Gestational sac is situated on the upper portion (fundus) of the uterus and sac diameter measuring 1.2 cm is little less than normal (Normal at 6 weeks should be about 1.7 cm).
4. Fetal pole has to appear by 6 weeks, which is yet to be seen in your case. The fetal pole grows at a rate of about 1 mm a day, starting at the 6th week of gestational age.
Kindly repeat the scan after a week to look for the improvements and consult your doctor with the report for appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
