I read about this and was writen that after 20.6 weeks should not do nuchal fold thickness . Please explain something about the situation. Should she worry ?Thank u
Hello and welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I have read through your question and here is my opinion.
Nuchal fold thickness is measured up to about 26 weeks and till then the normal range is up to about 6 mm. In your sisters case she has already reached 32 weeks hence this value cannot be relied upon completely. She has already reached an advanced stage of pregnancy and it is best to just wait and watch and go for routine ultrasound scans.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
