What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Suggest?

Hello, and Thank you in advance for helping me understand, I just had an ultrasound of my neck/thyroid gland with color Doppler and the findings/conclusion is as follows TOP NORMAL-SEIZED THYROID GLAND WITH DIFFUSE PARENCHYMAL DISEASE, BILATERAL VAGUE NODULARITIES AND DISCRETE LEFT LOBE NODULES, AS DESCRIBED. NO DEMONSTRABLE ENLARGED OR SUSPICIOUS LYMPH NODE IN BOTH PARAJUGULAR AREAS Can you please explain what that means?, thanks so much

Hello,

You have some nodules in your thyroid scan indicating. A thyroid gland abnormality. To better delineate them you should undergo a radionuclide scan soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
