What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Suggest?

HI DOCTOR I CARRIED OUT ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN OF WIFE FOLLOWING SOME PROBLEMS HIGHLIGHTED BY THE DOCTOR. 1. LIVER IS NORMAL IN SIZE, MEASURES 12 CMS AND SHOWS DIFFUSE INCREASE IN ECHOGENICITY SUGGESTIVE OF GRADE I FATTY LIVER. 2. THERE IS EVIDENCE OF ANECHOIC CYSTIC LESION IN LEFT OVARY MEASURING 3.5X2.3 CMS S/O SIMPLE CYST. 3. MILD FREE FLUID IS SEEN IN POD. FIRSTLY TELL ME IT IS SERIOUS PROBLEM. WHAT IS THE TREATMENT OF ALL ABOVE PROBLEMS. WITH BEST REGARDS.......... THANKS DOCTOR, I HOPE A REPLY WILL CONVEY FOR FURTHER PROCESS.

Hi,

You can't really tell.
The fatty liver is not a significant issue. about 1 in 5 adults have that or worse and higher percent if fat and/or obese.
cystic lesions in the ovary are common. the more regular they appear the less likely to be cancer but if it is not fluid filled (anechoic) then... can't say. The fluid in the abdomen doesn't mean much.
