What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Suggest?

Hi, I am 5 weeks pregnant.Had my first scan and it show only gestational sac.Had blood test were my doctor says My sugar level are high. Fasting blood glucose is 103 mugs/dl and post prandial blood sugar is 163 mg/dl, TSH- 7.13mclu/ml. she asked me to take one more test HbA1c- which is 6% and mean blood glucose value in past 90 days - 113mg/dl. can i have a better understanding on the above report. also should i take foliate tab and zincovit is it really required.

Hello,

This report clearly indicated that you have high sugar levels in blood in your pregnancy which is also called gestational diabetes.

1. Switch to a high protein diet and decrease your intake of sugar.

2. Do regular walk

3. if you are non-vegetarian add fish to your diet.

4. if vegetarian add fruits and nuts to your diet
