Normal sonographic appearance, no myometrial mass. Endometrical thickness of 9mm and triple layer. Ovaries are unremarkable appear to have small sized numerous cysts. . General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are multiple reasons for the polycystic ovary syndrome, the majority of which fall into the heading of hormone imbalance from lots of issues. The cure depends upon the hormone correction on regular basis and sequential evaluation of ultrasound in form of number and size of the cysts.

The surgery may be an option depending upon the response or unresponsiveness of the above said measures. The prevention again lies on the fact of hormone regulation itself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
