What Does The Following Urinalysis Report Indicate?

Hi I recent had a Urinalysis done and below are the test results, should I be concern? They also did a CT scan below are the results. I recommend that you follow-up with your appointment for the cystoscopy with Dr. Kuftinec. This CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis did not have any abnormality suggestive of hematuria. There was a small gallbladder polyps seen and a question of a subpleural abnormality which the recommend a low-dose CT scan of the chest in 6 months. Urinalysis results: Bacteria, Urine     Negative Blood, UA     Negative Clarity, UA     Cloudy Color, UA     Yellow Glucose, UA     Negative Hyaline Casts, UA     Ketones, UA     Negative Leukocytes, UA     Negative Nitrite, UA     Negative pH, UA     7.5 Protein, UA     Negative RBC, UA     5 Specific Gravity, UA     1.021 WBC, UA     I m 55 yrs old. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your urinalysis looks normal, so I don't see anything there that would be concerning. The CT scan shows a gallbladder polyp, which is nothing to be worried about, and there is something just outside of your lung, which they are not sure about. I would recommend following their advice to recheck in 6 months, just to make sure it is not growing, which most likely it will not.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
