What Does The Following Urinalysis Report Indicate?

Hi! I would just like to ask about the interpretation of my boyfriend s urinalysis. Pus cells result was 1-3, squamous, renal epithelial cells and bacteria occasional. Prior to the test he had a strenous activities like vigorous working out and basketball. He noticed a pink tinge on his urine. But no flank or suprapubic pain. So what would it be? Is it because of vigorous activity? Thanks

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Occasional bacterial cell suggests mild urinary tract infection.
It is not due to the vigorous activity.
But epithelial cell and pink tinge on urine is due to the vigorous activity.
I would suggests to go for the undergo the urine culture to confirm the infections after consulting the MD physician.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet sptarn DS, TABLET nitrozoilum and pyridium
Syrup cital
Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration
Take more fruit juice of the cranberry, orange and pineapple.
Do not delay in empty the bladder and empty the bladder completely.
Avoid to much exertion and maintain hydration.
