Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Urinalysis: only symptom is frequent urination. was told by Dr. there was blood in urine. treated for UTI for 3 months. 3 different antibiotics and urinalysis results just came back. WBC Esterase 2+ Occult Blood 2+ WBC 30 RBC 11-30 Everything else seems in normal range. Could this still be a UTI after 3 months?? What do these numbers mean?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The report indicates that the the urinary tract infection is still present. I recommend to do a urine culture to check the bacteria that is causing the infection and the antibiotic that can treat it. Meanwhile,I suggest to drink a lot of liquids.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
