General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the urine analysis report you have furnished.
1. Colour is yellow and is normal.
2. Transparency is slightly turbid, which needs to be clear.
3. Reaction is 6.0, which indicates pH is acidic and is normal.
4. Specific gravity with 1.020 is in normal range.
5. Albumin is present in traces, which should be nil.
6. Sugar should be negative and it is negative.
7. Pis cells of 3 - 4 per HPF and RBCs with 5 - 6 per HPF can be considered as normal.
8. Presence of occasional bacteria can be considered to be normal.
9. Presence of mucous threads and urate is indicative of inflammation.
10. No hyaline casts are seen and is normal.
Hence, this report indicates some abnormality due to the presence of albumin, urate and mucous threads with occasional bacteria.
Kindly consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope this helps. Wish you good health.
Regards.
