What Does The Following Urine Analysis Report Indicate?
Hi. Good day. id got my uinalysis today. And they cannt give me a medical certificate bec. of the results of my pus cells, which is 28-30hpf. and my Albumin was 1+. What does it mean. is it safe? And why does i have that. what should i do. Ineed some advice. Thank u for the consideration.
The urine results show that you have increased pus cells, indicative of urinary tract infection. Albumin 1+ in urine means that there is presence of albumin (protein) in urine. This is usually seen in infections. But albuminuria can also be associated with diabetic nephropathy, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, etc., (the possibility of these conditions can be confirmed only after knowing your complete medical history).
Please be advised to follow-up with a primary care provider with your test results. Urinary tract infection requires treatment with antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
