What Does The Following Urine Analysis Report Mean?
My mom has severe ache in lower stomach. And an urine test shows protein (+), occult blood (+++), pus cells (plenty), epithelial cells (16-18/hpf), RBC (6-8/hpf) and micro organisms (++).... please guide us why she may have such pain that she hasnot got relief after medication... what problem she may have? What are the treatments and which specialised branch of doctors would u refer??
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... According to your Mom's urine analysis report, she is suffering from severe urinary tract infection. This problem could also arise due to urinary calculus/stone, kidney problem, etc. Urinary infection is common in females due to shorter urethra. First of all an Ultrasound would be done to ruleout urinary calculus or any kidney problem or tumour. Then antibiotics would be prescribed.
So i would suggest you to visit a Urologist, he is specialist of urinary tract problems
hope this information helps
