What Does The Following Urine Examination Report Indicate?

My son is 13 years old.his urine exam result was this Color- yellow Transparency- slightly turbid Ph- 6.5 Protein- trace Glucose- negative Specific gravity- 1.015 Rbc- 10-12/hpf Pus cells- 1-2/hpf Epithelial cells- rare Bacteria- rare What is your interpretation with thisresult doctor?

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your son.

As per your history it seems to me that your son may be not having any urinary tract infection but because the RBCs count is little more than normal. There can be following problems associated
1) kidney stone
2)injury to uriter or urinary bladder.
3)may be some other causes like Poly, tumor ete but rarely possible in this age.

Among the above listed one kidney stones or injury is more important, you need to visit a Urologist for further evaluation and also get an USG done too.
