Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does The Following Urine Test Result Indicate?
mY irine test result are: Chemical Examination sugar: NIL Albumin: Trace Bile Salt: Absent Bile Pigment: Absent Acetone: Absent Blood: Negative Urobilinogen: Nil MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION: ePETHELIAL cELL: 3-4 Pus Cell: 2-3 Epethelial Cast: 0 Pus cell Cast: 0 Crystals: 0 Other: 0 What does that mean? How is my health?
Except for the albumin in the urine everything seems fine. Albumin can be present in the urine in diabetics with renal disease and a variety of non diabetic conditions. It can even be present when there is stress, fever, increased exercise etc. I am unaware of the clinical situation in which it was done. Please repeat it in a week if your general health is alright to see if its disappearing. If not, do revert to us.
Please feel free to drop in any more queries if need be. Warm regards, Dr Praveen Jeyapathy
