Dear Rameej

your mother looks to be suffering from HCV related chronic liver disease. although, only report in form of USG provided is very old, and it's also showing ascites.

To decide about requirement of liver transplant, we need to know symptoms/ case summary- if there is any history of ascitic tap, history of diuretic intake, any effect on kidney?
we also need to know following tests- CBC, LFT, RFT, INR.
once these test are available, only thereafter we can decide about requirement of liver transplant.

if she does not meet transplant criteria, she needs to continue medical treatment.

for further information, you can contact me.

Regards
Dr Punit Singla
