Hi ,According to my US report liver is small in size (13.4 cm cephalo-caudally).outline is irragular.Echotexture is coarse with midly increased hepatic parenchymal echogenecity. A left renal cyst. According to ELISA anti -HCV reactive ! PCR :The concentration of HCV RNA IN THE SAMPLE IS =8.9X 10 power 4 IU/mL Haemoglobin=12.8 g/dl.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. the investigation report posted by you says the following: 1. You are having Hepatitis C infection. 2. Liver has been infected and its morphology has been altered due to infection. 3. There is also a presence of cyst in your left kidney. 4. PCR report indicates that the viral load is quite high. Since the disease can be transmitted sexually or by blood donation, kindly abstain from these till the infection subsides and you recover completely.
