What Does The Lumbar Spine MRI Report Indicate?

I have just reviewed a copy of my MRI report from today of my lumbar spine, because of worsening tingling and pain n legs and history of scoliosis. Im not a doctor but I can tell that the scan does not look anywhere close to normal...... I know I probably cant send you the scan, but after 3 years of therapy, massage, chiropractor, yoga, needling, pain meds, back brace, you name it ive had it. I just hope that something will be able t be done as far as surgery goes.... they said no before..... but is it possibnle that one doctor may say yes if the mri is worse?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

TLSO and molded seating supports are a part of treatment and surgery treatment are used in almost all cases. Spine care program of 'Art of Living' shows good effects in patients with scoliosis and there is OMBW course which gives emotional strength. An ortho physician can be consulted. Those who exclusively treat the spine can be consulted for better opinion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
