What Does The Perfectly Round Bubble On The Inside Of My Cheek Indicate?
I just recently had a perfectly round bubble that was a dark red on the inside of my mouth on my cheek. This scared me because I thought I missed this for several years and it could be cancer or a scallop, leech,or some snail that creeped past my senses. But I realized I had bit my cheek earlier in the day. It was next to where this bubble appeared. I went outside to mow the lawn in the 98 degree heat and to my surprise the bubble disappeared after 30 minutes of sweating. No traces left behind. I figure it could have been a kind of scab that happens in the mouth or other wet areas? It was the size of a mole.
Based on the history you have shared, you should et it reviewed if it reappears else where in the mouth to rule out any neoplastic lesion through such lesions doesn't subside on their own.
Lichen planus or thrush should be ruled out. If the lesion persist it's better to get its biopsy done to look for exact cause.
Orthodontic specialist or maxillofacial surgeon may be consulted for reassurance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
