General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Suggestive of some underlying abnormal condition. Blood in the bowel can be caused by hemorrhoids, fistula, rectal polyps, inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis, infections, diverticulosis, and colorectal cancer.

Advised to consult a surgeon for further clinical evaluation to determine the cause of bleeding followed by its appropriate treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
