What Does The Presence Of Blood In Stool After C Section Suggest?
i had a c section 7 weeks ago today, for the last 2 weeks ive had bloody stool and last night there was blood in my underwear. my obgyn told me to go see a GI dr but nobody around my area accepts my insurance the closest place s 1hr 45min away and doesn t have an open apt till june 4h should I go to the er, schedule for june 4h? is it serious or shoud it buff out? its not hemroids or a tear my ogyn checked that.
Post pregnancy, there is less chances of any GI injury in a C section - Yet get a stool testing done - We'll have to send you to a surgeon for an OPD base visit - Do you have pain while passing stools? - Fresh blood / brown colored stools?
- Follow up with all these information
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jinela Desouza, Neonatologist
