What Does The Pus Cells Count 10-12 In Stool Test Report Suggest?
hi doctor my baby is 6 month old now.since almost one month he is passing greenish stool averaging 8 times a day.earlier stool test report was having ph 5 and normal routine report. today i again had stool test and pus cells count is 10-12. please advice
Hello and welcome to HCM, Green colored stools in 6 month old child suggests bacterial infection of the gastrointestinal tract. Increased frequency of stools suggests diarrhea. Presence of pus cells (10-12) suggests infection in the large intestine. Thus, you need to consult your pediatrician for clinical assessment and prescription of antibiotics.
