What Does The Scan Result Placenta Is Posterior Mean?

My wife is 27, 5'5", 78kg. She had the 27 weeks 5 days grwoth scan today and the report that her Placenta is posterior in location, grade I in maturity, low lying reaching up to os. what does it means? Is the chances of bleeding anytime? Please provide all the details and next steps as my wife is very worried.

According to the reports you have low lying placenta.
In majority of the cases,it migrate away from the internal os with advancement of pregnancy.There is nothing to worry.
You should have follow up scan to detect the progress.
You should avoid strenuous activity and take proper rest.
Rest of the findings are normal.
