What Does The Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
hello sir my husband 32yrs has low sperm count..married since 2yrs i m 30yrs..my all reports are normal..4months back the report was.5ml greyish white,abnormal viscocity,ph..7.9,,counts 5millions...5%activly motile,95%abnormal...then i started with ayurvedic medicines,,he has no addictn or any illness ... .this month report of semen analysis--,3ml,normal viscoty,fructose-ps,,alkaline,,per ml spermatozo-9.5,,perm ejaculte-28.5mill,non progresve-30%,spermiogram-35%normal,,agglutinatn-traced.pc,rbc,epi cells-occasn,pecusors-2-4hpf.

Based on the successive reports of semen analysis of your husband I would state that he has Oligoasthanospermia meaning there by that his sperm count is and percentage of active motile sperms is less than accepted values of WHO standards to effect fertilization of a female egg.
Truly speaking there are no medicines that can increase the sperm count or motility of sperms .However following general measures do help to increase these parameters to some extent .
1) Practice moderate exercises for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 hour .
2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits
3) Take 5-6 almonds every day
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking .
It takes long time say 6-8 months to see the results .Have patience .Dr.Patil.
