What Does The Semen Report Showing: "ol 2.5ml,No.of Spermatozoa/ml- 38.4million/ml,No.of Sperms/ejaculate - 38.4million" Indicate?

My Semen Report- Is it Normal or Abnormal?
Vol 2.5ml,No.of spermatozoa/ml- 38.4million/ml,No.of sperms/ejaculate - 38.4million
Motility:
A-Rapid Linear Progressive(GradeIII&IV)- 25% after 45mins,20% after 2hours
B-Sluggish Linear Progressive(Grade II)- 30% after 45mins and 25% after 2hours
Total Forward Progressive(A+B) - 55% after 45mins and 45% after 2hours
Non-Progressive - 25% after 45mins and 20% after 2hours
Immotile- 20% after 45mins and 35% after 2hours

Total Normal forms-40%

Is this report normal? Please help me.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the semen analysis report is as follows:
1. The seminal volume is 2.5 ml which is normal. Normally atleast 2 ml semen should be present per ejaculate.
2. The sperm concentration should be atleast 20 million per ml. In your case the sperm concentration is 38.4 million per ml which is normal.
3. Motility: At Least 50% sperms should have rapid progressive forward motion. In your case only 25% sperms are having rapid progressive forward motion.
4. Morphology: At Least 50% sperms should have normal morphology. In your case only 40% sperms have normal morphology.

The report shows that the motility and morphology of the sperms are not in the normal range.
However, two more tests need to be done for final report.
