What Does The Sonography Report Of A 56-year-old Indicate?
Hello doctor,my hubby is56yrs old his sonogrphy report shows mild protatomegaly with significant postvoid residue 2) umblical hernia containing omentum the defect measures 3.2 cm 3) gallbladder is contracting and shows a 2.0cm sized calculus. Cholesystitis . Plz reply is dis a major problem
All the findings in the ultrasound report indicate conditions that are not urgent but need to be treated. He seems to have increased residual urine after urination so he will need to find out the cause of this. It the prostate is the cause (he has enlarged prostate) then drugs for BPH should be taken. As for the gallbladder stone and the umbilical hernia, they will need to be surgically corrected.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
I wish you good health.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
