Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Doctor I have anteverted bulky uterus measuring 12.9 longitudinally, 6.6 com antero posteriorly and 9.3 cm transversely. hypo echoic lesion measuring 91*52*91 mm in posterior wall of uterus and fibroid measuring 28-23 mm.So please suggest what is the best remedy that I can have baby .I have done sugery of fibroid before 7 years.
Hi There are no medical conditions related to the position of uterus, whether anteverted or retroverted as it is just a function of development and may not pose any conception problems.Rather, what might pose a problem in your case will be the size of the uterus.A normal uterus averagely measures 7.5cm long, 5cm wide and 3cm thick. From these values, your is larger. The small fibroid and hypoechoic region may not explain this size.Small fibroids however do no prevent conception. The size of the uterus should be investigated. Some causes of bulky uterus include: hormonal imbalance, adenomyosis, pelvic congestion syndrome, some contraceptive methods like IUD and pills. With all these causes, i will suggest you see a Gynecologist to evaluate you, treat the possible cause of your enlarged uterus. If all of these are done, pregnancy may be possible. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
