Hello and welcome to HCM,

The interpretation of the test is as follows:
The bilateral adnexae i.e. ovaries and fallopian tubes probable due to infection- bacterial, tubercular, sexually transmitted infections etc.
The infection/ inflammation of the pelvic organs is called pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
PID often leads to difficulty in conception by interfering with ovulation and conception.
The cause of PID needs to be known for its treatment.
PID can cause obstruction of the fallopian tubes and thus interfere with movement of zygote after conception and hence can cause infertility.

Tuberculosis is a common cause of PID in developing countries.
Investigations like tuberculin test, urine for acid fast bacilli are some of the investigations which help to diagnose tuberculosis.

Thanks and take care
