What Does The Ultrasound Regarding Thyroid Indicate?
Good day good doctors! I just had an ultrasound and the impression states - "fairly large heterogenous solid mass, left thyroid lobe, as described, correlation with fine needle aspiration biopsy is recommended; suggestive of thyroid parenchymal disease, right". I would like to understand my condition better and know my medical options as well. Could you help me on this? God bless you all!

Solid mass in thyroid may be benign thyroid nodule, nodular goiter, adenoma ir may be malignant. Simple thing is just go fnac of thyroid. Its easy, rapid, safe,cost effective method for accurate dignosis. Also onve go for thyroid function test. Combination of usg, fnac, and tft will lead to diagnosis.

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the report of thyroid gland of ultrasonography it is suggestive of some cystic mass is there and it is advisable to get done fine needle biopsy to know the exact nature of lesion, and this is important, hope this information helps you take care and have a nice day.
