What Does The Ultrasound Result Indicate?
I received my results from ultrasound where it stated that there is 4 mm non-obstructive calculus in the lower pole right kidney. I have no idea what it means. Could you please explain and let me know if I should do something about it.Thank you,Ana

1.Your report means - there is a 4mm less than half a centimetre stone in the lower part of the right kidney.
2.Non obstructive means, that stone ( calculus ) is not causing any disturbance for urine flow to ureter and bladder.
3.What you have to do in this condition is, just have plenty of water which may flush out, do it for 2-3 weeks and get a repeat scan done if you feel symptomatic.
