What Does The Ultrasound Scan Result Of My Urinary Bladder Indicate?
Hi, I just had a routine ultrasound scan of my urinary bladder. The report says: Urinary bladder is physiologically distended. Its wall is not thickened. No intraluminal echoes are detected. Pre and post void volume measure 386cc and 11cc, respectively. Impression: normal sonogram of urinary bladder Are these normal? Anything to worry about? Thanks.
you have normal results for your urinary bladderultrasound. physiological distention is from the urine which you've voided for the examination. normal wall should not be thickened. no intraluminal echoes means there are no stones or lesions found inside. everything is normal.
hope this helps.
good day!!
