What Does The Urine Analysis Report Suggest?

Hello,

I m Vignesh.. my baby is 1 year old.. She had urine infection and had taken anti biotic after consulting my docor.. my question is - Urine Complete analysis taken on 3rd jan


RBCs/hpf       Nil
Pus Cells/hpf      10 to 15
Epi.cells/hpf     5 to 10
Others      No bacteria

Test on 21st jan     
RBCs/hpf      Nil
Pus Cells/hpf      20 to 30
Epi.cells/hpf     2 to 3
Others      baciili seen
     
Is Pus cell and others is alarming..

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your baby is suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
This is indicated by presence of pus cells,epithelial cells.
She need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
Ultrasound of abdomen can detect other associated pathology.
At present she need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
