Hi and welcome to HCM..
I thank you for posting your query here and I'm definitely going to help you out..
There's not a major problem, suggest you not to worry..
I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases day in and day out..
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..
I will analyze all your points..
1. Females are more prone to
urinary tract infection, Uti..
This is due to the anatomical reasons.
2. Pus cells 20 to 30..
This clearly indicates she's suffering from Uti..
Do not worry, we see a lot of cases.. It's definitely treatable.
Normally, pus cells should be less than 5.
3.
Rbc, red blood cells more than 5 indicates
Hematuria.
Again it's common in Uti to have rbc of 6 to 8.
4. Rest, everything fine..
And again I
stress. This is not a serious problem..
5. Please wait for the culture and sensitivity report which usually takes about 48 to 72 hours and we can see..
A. Organism responsible for Uti
B. Antibiotics to be administered..
6. But as a precaution measure, please advise her to..
A. Drink lot of water, around 4 to 5 litre a day
B. Personal hygiene
C. Do not store urine for long periods of time.. Keep clearing bladder frequently..
Hope this helps, in case you need any further assistance, please let me know..
Take care and God bless..
