What Does The Urine Test Report Indicate?

Hi just got my Urine test back and in the Blood portion it show a 10, on the side in the normal range it shows it should be 0-9. I did the test first thing in the morning with out urinating. I have had test done before and had a urologist look in my bladder and no cancer and kidney function is normal. I had to do this test for a job overseas. I have to retake it, if I urinate first and then drink water then take the test will this help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear patient,

a certain range of red blood cells (not visible with the eye) in the urin is normal, we call that physiological erythrocyturia. The urine tests today are so sensitive that they detect that even though there is no illness or disease condition behind it. If all the other urology tests are fine ant the urine test doesnt show any other signs like protein, white blod cells then there should be nothing to worry about. Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. If you try to retake it by not using the first morning urine the problem might disappear. Best regards
