Welcome to Healthcare Magic She does not have Diabetes, let alone the fact of insulin resistance. Diabetes is more than or equal to 126mg/dL of fasting glucose or more than or equal to 200mg/dL of post prandial glucose. If she eats a very rich, high carbohydrate, fat and protein meal she could have dumping syndrome where there will be autonomic symptoms like dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting immediately and after 1-3 hours weakness, dizziness, sweating, tremors will occur. This is one of the possibilities. Also she could be having orthostatic hypotension where blood pressure reduces after sitting or lying down after meal, mostly aggravated by antidepressant medicines, which can also cause the same picture. She needs to sit up from bed, move her legs and feet up and down for 5-6 times and then get up slowly to stand. Let her eat less rich diet and eat more frequent, small meals instead. She needs to eat more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Brisk walking for 40 minutes a day helps in good circulation of blood. Drink plenty of water. What is her Blood pressure last recorded.
