What Does Thick Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Depo Shots Suggest?
Hi,I have a discharge and its a thick brown color I have one sex partner and I m in the depo shot can you please tell me what s causing this because I m afraid.I had pylops on my ovaries some years back and I hadn t had my pap for. the year yet. could it be serious?
Breakthrough bleeding, spotting, brown discharge and changes to menstrual flow are some of the most common side effects during the first year of use.
Ibuprofen and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can help reduce the inflammation and pain that may come with abnormal uterine bleeding.
It is essential to rule out other causes of abnormal vaginal discharge such as vaginal infections ,ovarian or uterine pathologies. Pelvic ultrasound and Pap smear may have to be studied to identify or rule out the above causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
