hi, am about to start ivf, did an ultrasound that shows polys and thick endometrial linning, I had D&C and remove d polps and thick endometrium, then today I repeated the ultrasound and my lining is 11.3mm. cannt do d ivf cos is too thick, what should I do now, any treatment for me
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Thickened endometrium and uterine polyps are an indication of increased estrogen levels in the body, while the progesterone levels are low. IVF should be attempted once the histopathological examination of the polyp and endometrium shows no hyperplasia or malignancy. I would suggest you to consult your doctor to know the exact diagnosis and get IVF done accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
