What Does This Ultrasound Test Result Of Uterus Indicate?
Hi i want to know what does the following mean? my ultrasound findings are:The uterus has a homogenous echopattern. There are no focal solid or cystic mass lesions in the myometrium. The endometrial stripe in intact. It is hyperechoic. No gestational sac noted. No irregular echoes noted in the endometrial cavity. The endometrial stripe in thickened. There are few follicles in both ovaries. No mass lesions noted. No posterior cul de sac fluid noted.Diognosis: Anteverted uterus with a thickened endometrial stripe,Consider: Endometrial Hyperlasia.Negative Adnexae.
The pelvic ultrasound report shows thickened endometrium. An endometrial curetting or endometrial biopsy may be required to do histopathology of the thickened endometrium. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
