What Does Third Month Scan Showing Placenta Present At The Mouth Of The Uterus Indicate?
hi, this is kavitha and i have a doubt.I am 3 months pregnant and in the third month scan doctor told me that the placenta is present in the mouth of the uterus and doctor advised me to take bed rest.is there any serious problems in this?please kindly need your reply.

I have gone through your question.
As per your ultrasound scan placenta covers mouth of uterus means ? placenta praevia. As pregnancy progress placenta getting upsides usually.
So you should be under gynecologist observation and ultra sound should be done repeatedly till placenta comes away from the internal os/ opening of uterus.
So doctor advised to take bed rest.
Have a safe pregnancy and take care of yourself...
