What Does This AZO Test For Frequent Urge To Urinate Indicate?
Question. I was seen awhile ago for a UTI. I failed the test horribly, said the doctor. Anyway, I was put on an antibiotic (Cipro). Well, it helped, but a few weeks later I still had the urgency, etc. so I was put on bactrim. This was without a second urine test. They were thinking the first one didn t respond in my body. I just finished that and still feel like I have the urge to pee. I took an at home AZO test and it says my leukocytes are in the positive range, but I have no nitrates in my urine. What should I do? I NEED RELIEF!
Suggestive of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI). Based on the history and the given AZO test you seem to be suffering from recurrent UTI. I advise you to consult your doctor for urine culture and sensitivity test and based on the report you will be prescribed an appropriate antibiotic to eradicate the infection.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
