My mother CT SCAN RESULTS SHE IS 76 YEARS OLD. CT FINDING: Hypo attenuating brain tissue change noted at the hi right pareital lobe. No abnormal hi density hemorhage noted at the brain parenchyma. IMPRESSION: Chronic nonhemorhagic cerebral infraction right parietal lobe. what those this mean? Thanks you.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such CT finding is suggestive of history of hypertension patient might be having so why developed ischemia, some time such ischemic area can be seen in non hypertensive patient who is in geriatric age group, hope this information helps, take care.
