Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a CT Scan of the chest and the findings were: spiculated mass within the left upper lob measures 37mm AP x 40mm transverse x 31mm CC and is most likely a primary lung malignancy. No right lung mass or nodularity. Left hilar mass measures 47mm AP x 33mm. Metastatic left tracheobroncihial angle node measures 23 x 14mm. The mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes are centrally hypodense and may have central necrosis. Enxased and narrowed left upper lobe pulmonary artery. I also have bone lesions in my ribs and chest region. My main question is do you think this is small cell cancinoma or non small cell? Or something else? Please help.
