What Does This CT Scan Of Lungs Indicate?
Hi, I m a 33 year old female. A recent CT scan done before I had pulmonary vein ablation surgery for persistent afib showed a calcific pulmonary nodule and a juxtapleural noncalcified nodular opacity on my lungs and a subcentimeter hypodensitites in right hepatic lobe. This info was given to me by my cardiologist s PA. I was told not to worry about it and it needed no follow up. Should I have more tests/scans done to watch for any changes in these?

Although the nodules look benign due to calcification, it is quite possible that the nodules in the lungs, liver and the heart arrhythmias be related.
Sarcoidosis is a condition that can cause all the three and you being completely asymptomatic. Do a serum ACE levels and a mantoux test to rule out or confirm sarcoidosis.
Speak to a pulmonologist/cardiologist regarding the same
