hi there my granny as been in hopsital the docter said to add newmora and thay dun a x ray on her lungs and see sum think wot wasit there in fed 2011 then thay said it cud be lung cancer but wasit a 100% thay dun a ct scan and cudit see if it was lung cancer she as to go back in 8 weeks how ever i wud like to no wud a ct scan show any think on the lungs if u have newmona

YES CT SCAN CAN HELP DIAGNOSE AND DETECT PNEUMONIA , BUT AS ITS A MORE INVASIVE PROCEDURE THAN X RAY, ITS KEPT AS A 2ND OPTION SPECIFICALLY FOR PNEUMONIA. THANX
